Replaced "Navigation" page with "groundfloor" page.
Did a lot of back-end reorganizing regarding that.
"Groundfloor" now leads to parlour(mission statement), office (about), guestbook, and neocities profile. Stairs are ready for second floor (2nd half of navigation).
Redid the guestbook page so that it looks more like a book on a table.
Created the "parlour" page as place to give a little background on the website + design choices.

TO DO: Back button on blog page, page for stationary/fountain pens/mail stuff, second floor, hero + beatrice elements. Redo landing page. Add sitemap. Make "leave" button that goes from ground floor to landing/front door.
After three or four days of perfect weather it is starting to get cold again. The sky is flat and pale. I can hear the red-winged blackbirds clearing their throat as they flit above the gurgling spring. Sitting outside, I swear I can see the flowers growing, the grass shooting up. With a jacket its pleasant outside, but a persistent southeasterly wind keeps sneaking its hand up the back of my shirt.
I am finally hitting the swing of things with this "project", if I can call it that. Hello if you are reading this! My vision and my skills seem to be catching up to one another, which is making progress smoother and less frustrating... But I notice that I hardly want to do anything else. I'm too "locked in", as they say.
Now that things are more or less set up, and everything else is vanity work, I'm hoping I can step away a little bit more. I want to get back to reading my book but my brain is hooked on the great HTML puzzle, and its starting to disrupt my sleep. I'm dreaming of this house, then I wake up, gluing myself to my computer as I frantically try to remember everything I dreamt and attempt to implement it.
At the very least its been keeping me from checking the news.
Anyway, I just wanted to get something here so I could make sure it worked and looked okay. Ciao!
